Galen Reuther's interest and background in historic preservation fueled her desire to explore and relate to readers all facets of historic Hendersonville. She is a board member of Historic Flat Rock, Inc., and is also the author of Images of America: Flat Rock. Lu Ann Welter has helped organize historic Hendersonville home tours. She lives in Hendersonville's Hyman Heights Historic District and enjoys exploring and researching Hendersonville's wonderful past.
