Whitehead is from New England and practices divorce law in Hartford, Connecticut, but her true love is writing novels on her farm in rural Connecticut surrounded by her dogs and horses and one lone but brave cat. Her books always have dogs, horses, and romance in them as all three are her passions. She is the author of Tell Me When It Hurts, The Rage of Plum Blossoms, and Hemingway's Daughter.
