Having taken the book of Hebrews as one of her religion courses while working on her Master's degree at Liberty University, the author became captivated by the subject. Later on from hearing preachers' sermons, she became inspired to try to write her own book as the subject became like a burning fire shut up in my bones (Jer. 20:9). Overcoming two cases of writer's block, the author did finish her work. It is her sincere hope that readers will now come to appreciate the fact, just as she did, that Jesus Christ is better than anything, and because He now sits on the throne at God's right hand as our Great High Priest, we can make it! She currently lives in Vinton, Virginia, but serves as a pharmacist for a small retail pharmacy in Roanoke, Virginia.
