Autorenporträt
Wout Jac. Van Bekkum, Ph.D. (1988), University of Groningen, teaches Post-Biblical Hebrew in the Department of Middle East Studies, University of Groningen. He is also Professor of Modern Jewish History at the University of Amsterdam. He has been involved in the research of Hebrew religious poetry since the late 1970s. His publications include two editions of a medieval Hebrew Alexander Romance and articles on Hebrew linguistics and Jewish exegesis.
