Natural life which based on various balances continues as long as the balance between living organism and environment can be maintained. For this reason, all living beings, including humans, need appropriate environments where they can maintain their lives on a regular basis. Heavy metal pollution and its effects are covered by lots of disciplines and the extent of this book is limited. In this contribution, we review the heavy metal their sources, definitions in the literature and effects of the organisms, and bioassessment of these pollution with organisms are expressed here.
Autorenporträt
She is an Assist.Prof. at Narman Vocational School in Atatürk University. Her major is Biology and specialized in Zoology. As an aquatic ecologist, she studied Hydrophilidae (Coleoptera) taxonomy in her master thesis and biomonitoring heavy metal with using Hydrophilidae in her doctoral thesis.
