Singing with or without music instrument has been for the long or even as long as human existence known to be part of social fabric of most societies. As natural as it may be, concerns of adverse effects has been raised.Experimental studies in animals also show that change in endolyphatic pressure could occur with exposure to loud sound and also that prolonged exposure to loud sounds could cause vasospasm of vessels and loss of hair cell with resultant hearing loss. This study tries to find any significant effect of singing on hearing.
