Autorenporträt
Bronwyn Preece lives on the off-the-grid island of Lasqueti, BC. As an Applied Theatre practitioner and author, she focuses on fostering meaningful social and ecological dialogue through the arts. She was the youngest woman ever elected to the Islands Trust local government, serving two consecutive terms. Gulf Islands Alphabet was written while overlooking the Strait of Georgia, in a cabin run on solar and water-power. For more information on Bronwyn and the workshops she offers, visit: www.bronwynpreece.com. Alex Walton was born in Jamaica, moved to England, then finally settled in British Columbia, Canada. Here, he learned to appreciate nature and the outdoors, which he often brings into his paintings. He studied art, earned a degree in Natural Resource Management, and has illustrated a number of children's books. For more information, visit www.waltonillustrations.com.
