Autorenporträt
Marlene Kinley is a wife, and mother of two children and one spoiled dog. She has lived in many parts of Canada from the east coast to the west, although Fort McMurray, AB, was home for 35 years. Marlene worked as a teachers' assistant for many years. It was there in the schools where the passion for this book began. Every year near Remembrance Day, she felt there was a need for books at the kindergarten to grade one level about the wars and its heroes. Marlene hopes to be a voice to forge an understanding between our veterans and our younger generation, explaining the importance of our freedom and their sacrifices. She hopes you enjoy the book. God Bless all our veterans and heroes for their service - past, present, and future.
