Joseph Hurka is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, and teaches creative writing at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts. His short stories have appeared in numerous literary journals, and his travel writing is currently featured in the National Geographic book, JOURNEYS HOME. He lives in southern New Hampshire.
