Autorenporträt
The authors Mary & Vanessa Hudson are a mother and daughter team whose family first encountered the need to eat gluten free because of a Coeliac diagnosis more than 12 years ago, and the subsequent discovery that in fact three quarters of their family were affected with varying degrees of gluten intolerance. They briefly entertained the idea of a lifetime of denial and avoidance of gluten containing foods, but being foodies at heart who loved baking they were not content to simply give up eating the things they had once enjoyed. So they embarked on a quest to create delicious, satisfying, gluten free baked goods that are as much of a joy to cook as they are to eat. Initially they established their company Goodness Me to sell their gluten free bread and baking mixes made according to a secret family recipe, but over the next few years they developed so many tasty recipes for baked goods they decided that writing a cookbook was the best way to share their secrets and Goodness Me it's Gluten Free is the result.
