Jimmy settles in easily at New Castle not knowing that there has been a group of IRA members including Leo and his brother Sean planning to avenge the murder of his father up in Belfast, Northern Ireland. While Jimmy is across the Atlantic enjoying New Castle, the IRA-led group heads north to Belfast to face Seamus' killer. The fallout from this event will help determine Jimmy's future as he leaves New Castle and attends Harvard. Determined to help find peace in Ireland, Jimmy must decide his own path forward.

L.J. Legere is originally from Leominster, Massachusetts and received his BS in Education degree in 1977 from Bridgewater State College. He taught Math and Social Studies in New Hampshire for several years before receiving his M.Ed degree in Counseling from the University of New Hampshire in 1991. Jim then worked as a school guidance counselor in Massachusetts and New Hampshire public schools for the next 25 years. He retired in 2017 from Exeter, N.H. High School after 40 years in education. Jim has lived in Newmarket, N.H. since 1984. Good Friday is his first book.
