Autorenporträt
Richard M. Robin, Professor of Slavic Linguistics and International Affairs, is the Russian language program director at the George Washington University. Within the field of Russian language pedagogy, he specializes in language proficiency assessment, listening comprehension, and the use of authentic media in the lower levels of instruction. Over the last thirty years, he has collaborated on a half-dozen Russian language textbooks. Karen Evans-Romaine, Professor of Russian, is co-director of the Russian Language Flagship program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She and Russian Flagship co-director Dianna Murphy have co-edited a volume, Exploring the US Language Flagship Program: Professional Competence in a Second Language by Graduation (2017) and have co-authored articles on pedagogical and co-curricular practices in the Russian Flagship. Evans-Romaine teaches Russian language, literature, and culture. Galina Shatalina, Professor of Russian, is the Russian course coordinator for the George Washington University.
