Autorenporträt
Ratnakar Bhattacharyya was born in Jorapukur in pre-partition Bengal. He graduated in medicine from Calcutta University in 1959, choosing a medical career like his father and grandfather, when he could not get into the engineering course of his choice. He has worked in many countries and currently lives in Sydney.
