W.C. Madden is an accomplished author with thirty books and more than one hundred magazine articles to his credit. He has a journalism degree from Our Lady of the Lake University, San Antonio, Texas. He's a member of the White County Historical Society, Monticello Rotary and Monticello Kiwanis. He first began writing for publication in the United States Air Force and won the prestigious Thomas Jefferson Award for his writing in the military. He was also an award-winning journalist with the Noblesville Ledger in Noblesville, Indiana.
