Tebeau (December 26, 1861 - February 4, 1923) was an outfielder in Major League Baseball who played between 1887 and 1895 for the Cincinnati Red Stockings (1887-89) and Toledo Maumees (1890) of the American Association, and with the Washington Senators (1894) and Cleveland Spiders (1894-95) of the National League. Tebeau batted and threw right-handed. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri. In a six-season career, Tebeau was a .269 hitter with 15 home runs and 311 RBI in 627 games played, including 622 hits, 96 doubles, 54 triples, 440 runs and 228 stolen bases.
