Rumana Yeasmin obtained M.S. (Agronomy) and B.S. (Agriculture) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural Universuty, Gazipur, Bangladesh. She has a one journal paper on agronomic research. She worked with Prof. Dr. M. Abdul Karim during her M.S. research work. From her research work a mungbean variety "BU mug 5" was released.
