Amongst the 65 women with genital mycoplasma, the highest coinfection was with G. vaginalis (33.8%). Antibiotic sensitivity showed Pristinamycine (PT) as the most sensitive antibiotic with 92% sensitivity and Trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (SXT) as the most resistant with a sensitivity of 8%. There is a relationship between genital Mycoplasma infection and C. albicans, G. vaginalis and T vaginalis. Abstinence and the use of condoms should be encouraged.
