Produktbeschreibung
The monograph, performed in the paradigm of systems linguistics, provides an overview of the problems of identifying and describing lexical-semantic systems of the world's languages. Despite the abundance of dictionaries, the lexical-semantic system of no language in the world has been described. The book contains not only an answer to the question of why, but also to the question of how. The lexico-semantic level of a language is proposed to be described on the functional grounds, which have been shown to be effective and accepted for other levels of language. The fundamental for the authors is a complex qualitative-quantitative approach to the study of the lexico-semantic system. The unit introduced by the authors - lexico-semantic invariant - is suggested to be an element of lexico-semantic system. The links forming the structure of lexico-semantic system are recognized as syntagmatic, paradigmatic and epidigmatic (derivational in the broad sense). The book is written in simple language and is intended for all those involved and interested in linguistics: undergraduate and postgraduate students, lexicologists, specialists in semantics and the widest audience of language lovers.
