Schilling, Johannes
Johannes Schilling, Dr. theol. Dr. phil. Dr. theol. h. c., Jahrgang 1951, studierte Musikwissenschaft, Germanistik, Lateinische Philologie des Mittelalters und Evangelische Theologie an den Universitäten Göttingen, Zürich, Wien und München. Von 1993-2016 war er Professor für Kirchengeschichte an der Theologischen Fakultät der Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel und 1999-2002 Prorektor der Universität. Er ist Ordentliches Mitglied der Akademie der Wissenschaften in Hamburg und seit 1999 Präsident der Luther-Gesellschaft. 2017 wurde ihm die Ehrendoktorwürde der Theologischen Fakultät der Universität Kopenhagen verliehen.
