"Gamechangers" is an overview of the changes in sports in the last 60 years. Covering professional and Olympic sorts from an American perspective, it highlights the many unforeseen changes in sports on and off the field. Whether it's a significant change in the way the game is played, the equipment used or the people involved, it's in here. Off the field it covers the important players who never touched a ball or competed on the field, but still made a major contribution to modern sports. From baseball stars to Olympic greats to sports agents and agents of social and technological change, they are here. There are also little known facts rarely compiled together to give you another perspective on events you may have thought you knew and an understanding of why you don't know what things will look like 60 years from now.
