Children are encouraged to solve and create riddles and to experiment with words in a variety of word play activities, such as playing with words, discovering anagrams and exploring jokes based on homophones. The activities can be used with either individuals or groups. The author, John Foster, taught for over 20 years before becoming a full-time writer. He is the country¿s most prolific anthologist of children¿s poetry having compiled over 150 anthologies. He has also written 12 books of his own poetry for children.
