Beverly is a native of Natchez by heritage. Both her parents, (the late) Rogers Adams III and Annie Augustine Randall Adams (a descendant of Prince Ibrahima) were born and raised in Natchez, Adams County. Beverly was born at the Fort McClellan Army Hospital; she is the third of four daughters; her sisters are Lenifer L. Adams, Jacqueline J. Adams, and Deatric D. Adams Curtis. MSG Rogers Adams retired from the United States Armed Forces Army after service of over twenty years; they lived around the world in Ethiopia, Africa; Okinawa, Japan; Ankara and Karamursel, Turkey; Fort Devens, Massachusetts; Fort Hood, Texas; Fort Polk, Louisiana; Heidelberg, Germany, where Beverly graduated from Heidelberg American High School; they traveled to Paris, Italy, Spain, Holland, Greece, and Berlin; she also lived in Atlanta, Georgia, and Houston, Texas.
