Included are his poignant recollections of war, and his thoughts about its impact on those who fight in it. Jack lives in Maryland with Betty, his wife of 63 years. His family includes three children, five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and five (soon to be six) step-great grandchildren.
