His theater work spans on and off stage in the U.S. and Japan, including directing Off-Broadway and tech at San Francisco's Jon Sims Center. While his music work includes owning his own label, Roman Midnight Music, and extensive blogging and podcasting and playing.

Aaron Joy (W.W.U., Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, 2001) worked as the 'Bellingham Herald' librarian for a few years and wrote for the 'Bellingham Herald,' 'Whatcom Watch' and 'Betty Pages' newspapers. His local theater and history work earned a Mayors Arts Award Letter of Commendation (2000). He has lived in Hungary, Japan, San Francisco and Manhattan, the later where he directed Off-Broadway and worked in the music industry. He now lives in Portland, Maine and is on staff of a law firm. He has written and published countless fiction and non-fiction books since his first book in 1999, "A History Of Bellingham's Parks", including books on spirituality and music history.
