This book presents Bessie Head's theorizations through narrative. It navigates Head's fiction as planes for the interrogation of theorizations from three major perspectives: Freudian, Foucaultian and Feminist. The texts are analysed in the way they enter into theoretical discourses to tell the writer's story. This book will be beneficial to scholars of theory in the humanities, and particularly to literary scholars on issues of discourse analysis.
