Alaric Albertsson (Iowa) is the author of several books on magic and spirituality, including A Handbook of Saxon Sorcery and Magic and To Walk a Pagan Path. He has served as vice president and was on the board of directors of the Heartland Spiritual Alliance, and has served as the Anglo-Saxon Vice Chieftain for Ár nDraíocht Féin's Germanic, kin, Eldr ok Iss. Albertsson first embraced polytheism in the summer of 1971. At that time he was introduced to the folk tradition of spell casting and divination with playing cards.
