Ms. Iivari is a self-taught artist who enjoys watercolors and oils. She has dabbled in acrylics, and her forté is flowers, focusing the last few years on wildlife and scenery. She passionately created this series while working on the first book. Each title and theme emerged at precisely the right time. Her courage, strength, and faith, along with family, co-worker friends, and her two dogs all helped her continue in a positive direction. Twenty-five years of sobriety has clarified her perspective that life is fragile and precious, and no moment should be wasted.
