The forestry companies in Niassa Province have been established since 2005, having invested an additional 30 million Euros with the purpose of planting 500 hectares of pine and eucalyptus until 2025. The book analyses the effects of the presence of the companies in the communities mainly in the adoption of new forms of production. This study is relevant because it can serve as an instrument of analysis of the impact of this meeting of cultures, of the socio-economic development policies adopted, at a time of global industrialization of the world. The study was carried out involving the Communities of Micucue 1, Chiulica, Mandeze, Malulu-sede, Chitula, Macassangilo and Mapaco, in the Districts of Lago, Sanga and Chimbonila. It is concluded that, after more than 10 years, the real impact - from the social, cultural and economic point of view - of these activities on the life of the elected communities is moderately satisfactory, since there is nostalgia to work in the forestry companies within the communities, because from the point of view of the same communities, it is worth: badly occupied" that unoccupied.
