The study investigated the food law and hygiene awareness of butchers in Jaman South District and their implications on the populace. Structured questionnaires were administered to 150 respondents comprising one hundred and twenty persons from the general public and thirty butchers. The methodology involved field work, survey, questionnaire and interview.
