Life, God, pain, and hate--that's what his poems are all about. Brendan took people like days, one at a time. Brendan tried to understand life, good, and bad; and God was his road map. Some of Brendan's poems can be dark, but they have that ray of hope by the time you get to the end. Brendan wrote poems about his experiences, such as the birth of his son. Sean Patrick Barrett inspired one of his greatest poems, "One Big Wheel," a poem to help survive life any way you can and keep your soul.
