The immortals came to Earth seeking a new home, just as the last of the Ice Age was ending. But when they arrived, they discovered a world of danger and a desperate need for new raw materials to keep their arkship running. They buried the arkship beneath the southern pole landmass and ventured out to explore their new home. Autorenporträt
Welcome to my world. Let's call it a slightly different place, where magic, portals, and other worldly beings exist. For the most part, it looks and feels just like reality, but there are differences. Our series begins with an Immortal falling in love with a human - and then all hell breaks loose. The Immortal Stories Series follows the lives of a small group of immortals who find True Love. Some of their stories are interconnected, and others are not. It starts with Immortal Desire, where the first immortal man of this group finds his true love with a human woman. Next comes Immortal Fulfillment (Book 2), the conclusion to Immortal Desire. Immortal Peril (Book 3) finds our heroine and hero in grave danger, which gets thrillingly resolved in Immortal Victory (Book 4). Immortal Hunt (Book 5) sees our immortals (and their human lovers) looking for more of their kind, while Immortal Nexus (Book 6) shows us their everyday lives and families. Immortal Generation (Book 7) starts with a mystery and then travels to distant places to find its resolution - and more books are to come!As a series, the Immortal Stories are about a race of aliens that arrived on Earth 33,000 years ago looking for a new place to call home, because their home world is destroyed. These people are very long-lived, in fact humans consider them to be immortal. But they can be killed. When the Immortals get here, the planet is covered in ice miles thick. This isn't a problem for them, because they just burrow their arkship into the ice and make a home. When the Immortals' ship starts running out of basic materials to keep them going, they foray into the world to hunt for food. Their technology lets them travel great distances from their berth to find animals, fish, and plants that are edible. The immortals choose to distribute themselves across the planet. With 36 shuttle craft, they can travel to 36 different places on the planet and establish a community, work with humans, and prosper. Only one of the groups stayed behind in their original landing site.Eventually, the Immortals make contact with the intelligent indigenous species - humans. At first they watch, learn, assess, and track the progress of these early humans. There is such a vast difference between the off-worlders and humans, the aliens know they can't approach the humans until they have progressed further. So the Immortals decided to aid this progress. They taught them how to cook food, and other skills that let them have easier lives. Eventually the humans evolved to form villages and are farming as well as hunting, as well, they had developed a social structure, and a government of sorts. They were ready for more contact. So started the story of how the immortals interbred with humans, created magical people and long-lived humans. The immortals came with natural powers that were enhanced by the unique environment Earth provided. They were able to use this magic to build, create, design, and grow, among other things. Some of the humans inherited some of these powers. The immortals continued to drift in and out of contact with humanity, providing humans with technologies they wouldn't have developed on their own.Eventually, the immortals realized that they could not interfere with human conflicts. They did not want to play the role of God. So the immortals disappeared from human memory, leaving behind evidence only in the form of myths and religions. By the 20th century, the Immortals have come to be wealthy business people and landowners. Their wealth has accumulated over the centuries, hidden in deep vaults from human eyes. Blending into human society in the 21st century brings a whole new challenge as humanity's technology becomes more sophisticated. It is harder to hide. Every now and then, an Immortal meets a human and a true love connection is made. Immortals are not coy or shy about their sexuality. They embrace all forms of love between people, especially in large groups.
