Autorenporträt
Michael E. Tirone, born and raised in Willimantic and a firefighter from 1974 until 2010, served with Electric Boat Fire Department, the US Naval Submarine Base Fire Department in Groton, and the Norwich Fire Department. Peter J. Zizka, a Willimantic native, is a past volunteer firefighter who has spent countless hours researching Willimantic and fire department history. Marc A. Scrivener is the acting fire chief of the Willimantic Fire Department and an adjunct instructor at the Connecticut Fire Academy. Author proceeds from this book will be donated to International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1033 for their many community service activities.
