El Sr. Kassi Ydris es un ex profesor de inglés que enseñó a la mayoría de las personas pobres de todas las edades a leer y escribir en inglés en Corea del Sur durante siete años y en Japón durante cinco años. Tiene una maestría en TESOL (Enseñanza del inglés para hablantes de otros idiomas) del Instituto de Estudios Internacionales de Monterey en Monterey, California. Vivió y estudió en Copenhague, Dinamarca. Originalmente vino de México a América. Creció en Costa Mesa, California, en el Condado de Orange. Habla inglés y español con fluidez y también estudió francés en la escuela secundaria y la universidad. Fue galardonado con el premio Aladdin por su trabajo con su poesía y por ser el editor de su club de escritura creativa de la escuela secundaria durante dos años. Ha escrito poesía desde los once años. Este es su tercer libro de poemas espirituales para Jesucristo, que completa su promesa a Dios.
