Her research focuses on Phytoremediation of contaminated sites, Waste Water Treatment, Drinking water purification, Dye Removal, Heavy Metal Removal, etc. She has published several research articles and review articles in peer -review international journal having good impact factor. Dr. Mahajan is a reviewer of several reputed national and international journals. She also credited 6 patents in her profile.
