Danielle Metcalfe-Chenail [make name bigger] is the author of six books for adults and children, including the bestselling Alis the Aviator and In This Together: Fifteen Stories of Truth and Reconciliation. She was Historian Laureate in Edmonton; Writer-in-Residence at Berton House in Dawson City, Yukon; a finalist for several writing awards in Texas, where she lived for five years; and is an active member of many writing organizations internationally.
