John R. Gold is Professor of Urban Historical Geography at Oxford Brookes University and Special Appointed Professor at Meiji University, Tokyo, Japan. Margaret M. Gold is Senior Lecturer in Creative Industries at London Metropolitan University and also teaches at Goldsmiths, University of London.
