Ameena Meer has lived multiple lives - a dancer, a journalist and editor for magazines like Art Forum, Interview, Paper Magazine, Details, Bomb, Actuel; a novelist and writer, Bombay Talkie [Highrisk Books] and How to Shoot Your Kids with Arthur Elgort. She's been a creative director and copywriter for brands like Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Balenciaga, Diesel, Avon and Weleda; Meer is also a health coach, a nutrition consultant, a registered hypnotist, polarity and craniosacral practitioner and reiki master. She is also certified in green medicine, healing with whole foods and medicinal oils. Her own experiences with illnesses - PCOs, meningitis, a liver virus and cancer - made her study the ways in which people heal and thrive afterwards. Her goal is to help people recover their innate healing and anti-aging abilities to be their best and happiest selves.
