Barbara was born and raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She married and raised her four children in Oakdale, Minnesota; an Eastern suburb of Saint Paul, not far from the Wisconsin border. She is now retired and continues to devote her life to her family and volunteers on a daily basis in the senior community in which she now lives.
