However different cultures have different factors which precipitate to generate depressive symptoms among elderly people. This study aimed to identify most common depressive symptoms and possible reasons to develop depression in elderly population in Sri Lanka. To achieve the above mentioned aim this study had few objectives. To identify reasons behind adult depression, to clarify impact of different factors affecting depression.
