The author recommends exclusive Breastfeeding and intake of balanced diet especially for those who prepare using available local foods. Furthermore, a special agreement can be created, according to which, the children whose mothers work on cultivation should be regularly brought to them for feeding in order to improve nutritious status of the under-five children. Therefore, the study points out the causes of malnutrition in under-five children. Poor diet is the main cause of malnutrition. Poor nutrition is a product of a lack balanced diet and a lack of mixed farming practices. Were mixed farming is not done, ignorance of how to use crops and livestock to generate balanced diet cause malnutrition in under-five children. The author recommends balanced diet as a priority to enable the Under-five children to grow healthy with well developed brain.
