As a nation, we continue to diversify in great numbers. Individuals from uniquely distinct backgrounds are coming together at work and at play, interacting on many levels and in many instances, forming unions which give way to a new class of couples and families which possess a multicultural component. With such diversity, many factors come into play in addition to the typical situations that married couples face, bringing joy and excitement but also causing sources of frustration at times. With the number of divorces continuing to be high in the United States, and the number of mixed marriages we see today, there is reason to question how the two factors may impact one another. This work, seeks to discover if there is an impact on the satisfaction of a marriage with respect to religious differences or similarities amongst the couple.
