In this book a case study was conducted to inquire into whether a targeted intervention; a leadership development program, can contribute to the participants experience of leadership development. The program was conducted in 2011 in the Norwegian Armed Forces Medical Services. The data was collected from in-depth interviews with four of the participants. Through analysis of the data from the interviews, there emerged categories and sub-categories which are discussed. The book draws mainly on constructive developmental theory. Different types of tools are used during the program to address changes that the participants want, for instance a 360-tool, to bring to the surface key opportunities for developmental growth. The program also uses individual coaching as well as the "Immunity to change"-learning platform, to address change by trying to unlock our mental immune system`s grip on our perception so the participants have an opportunity to see it in action. The aim of the program is to enable a development of a greater awareness and sensitivity to the full range of consciousness available to the participants. The participants describe experiences of developmental processes.
