The work shares the experience of the Kaqchikel Mayan University, what and how it works to retake, promote, cultivate, safeguard and systematize the science, art, language, values and approaches of the Kaqchikel Mayan philosophy; to promote the fullness of the human being, his personal fulfillment and his community, and contribute to the universal culture, based on listening and relating to mother earth, as the great and main pedagogue, through the use of the diverse languages used by the peoples historically. The methodological process is shared, how it develops and promotes the Mayan cosmic-scientific principles: holistic, systemic, circular, pyramidal, balance, and from the approaches of thechumilal competencies (the life vocation of the person), ancestral values, education for life, the development of skills and abilities.
