Alex Hartsell has always had a passion for storytelling, and when he had the opportunity to write a book to honor his brother, Evin, he jumped at the chance. Evin's World at the Zoo was inspired by Alex's brother's passing, and the proceeds for this book support the Evin B. Hartsell Foundation. Alex is a graduate of Western Kentucky University. He also served in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of captain, and currently lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife, Lindsey, and their two energetic sons.
