Mark Higgins grew up in the northwest of England, born in Widnes, his parents relocated to Ashton-in-Makerfield in Wigan, where he grew up alongside two siblings, and where he still lives and works today. Mark and his wife Debra have two children, Conor and Erin. Marks writing began in their early years when he would write short stories for bedtime reading. Now, with encouragement from those who have enjoyed reading his stories, he has decided with the help of Austin Macauley to make them available to a wider audience in the hope that others may enjoy reading them.
