The pandemic struck at a critical point in history when smart solutions and technology became mainstream in many coun-tries. The challenges for cities seem to be getting increased. A Solution has to be found to the population growth in cities and the preservation of a sustainable eco-logical and safe living space in the city. However, it is hard to find an effective way to develop sustainable cities. The Smart City Initiatives are taking up this challenge and driving changein cities.
