The eucalyptus lenceolata wood was collected and converted into carbon. The carbon was then characterized by BET surface area, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), FTIR and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) techniques. The results show that the adsorption process is spontaneous process. The negative value of entropy shows that the molecules on the surface of adsorbent take an oriented position on the adsorbent surface. All models were found best fit for the adsorption data.
