This has motivated the author to undertake a systematic study on the erosion in the rotating components of the pumps. This study is supported by a detailed investigation in a Coriolis wear tester to quantify the effect of various parameters on the erosion wear in the presence of rotation. The high concentration slurry is transported to ash pond sites and deposited into the ash pond. So the deposition characteristic of coal ash slurries is very important as it decides the spreading behavior of highly concentrated slurry in the ash ponds. Deposition pattern of coal ash in the pond has a strong dependence on the concentration and other properties of slurry.

At present, he is working as Asst Professor in the Mechanical Engg Dept., DIAT (DU), Pune, India. He also published 20 articles in different International Journals & conferences.
