Blood transfusion is a medical act that saves many lives in Dibaya Territory. Blood safety remains a major problem because the need for blood is greater than the supply. Several cases of anaemia are frequent. To overcome this difficulty, regular awareness-raising and encouragement of volunteer donors are developed in Saint François, although the area is very poor financially.
