The effort this time is to add environment and safety to the spectra of physics research, in the spirit of sustainable development by UNEP. The approach is field survey, physical probing, experimental research, participatory Rural Evaluation and modelling, using Nigeria as case study. The motivation is the declaration of 2005 as the world year of physics by the UN Council which galvanised scholarly enthusiasm among the developing nations under the team "thinking globally but acting locally". The text is divided into five chapters namely. i. Environmental physics innovations Nigeria. ii. Baseline Science and physics nobelties across the globe. iii. Sound impact damage risk criteria on structural elements and biota. iv. African space aliens and the ghostron concept from UFOs studies. v. Physics in governance and the economic resonance equations.

Dr. Felix Ugbana Nte (MNIP) is a product of Stella Maris College Port Harcourt, B.Sc UPH, PGDE. ABU, M. Phil and IGST RSUST, with an industrial background and field experience. He is presently a Senior lecturer in the Department of Physics University of Port Harcourt, an author/co-author of over 30 articles at the local and international journal.
